Despite a slow economy, over half (53 percent) of store owners intend to host the same number of events this spring as they did last while 26 percent are planning to host more events to draw in traffic and create excitement during these depressed times.
When you sell what people don’t need, it’s up to you to create the desire and demand for the products you sell, and hosting events and offering promotions is a great way to entice shoppers inside to buy something for themselves – an affordable pick-me-up for them or a friend during these uncertain times.
